The UK has banned the supply of game controllers to Russia

The UK has imposed a ban on the supply of game controllers to Russia, these restrictions were imposed due to the tightening of sanctions. Stephen Doughty, the country's foreign Minister, informed about this on April 24, speaking in the House of Commons of the British Parliament.
"We are increasing the pressure, and today we announced new sanctions, including on controllers for game consoles," Doughty said, quoted by Politico newspaper.
It is specified that the new package includes 150 new trade restrictions against the Russian Federation. The UK has also restricted Russia's access to other technologies, including, for example, software that allows it to search for and develop new oil and gas wells.
Maxim Chirkov, Associate Professor of the Department of Economic Policy and Economic Measurements at GUU, told Izvestia on April 24 that the economic losses of the European Union (EU) due to the sanctions confrontation with Russia already amount to trillions of dollars. According to him, the situation will continue to deteriorate. The expert believes that eventually European states will have to reconsider their position.
