- The media reported on the participation of three Pakistanis in the terrorist attack in India

Indian intelligence agencies have found evidence of Pakistan's involvement in a terrorist attack near the Indian city of Pahalgam. The operatives identified five terrorists, including three Pakistani citizens. This was reported on April 24 by the Hindustan Times newspaper, citing sources.
"We have already found some technical evidence indicating that the attack was carried out from Pakistan," a representative of the Indian security forces is quoted in the publication.
The newspaper reported that such a sophisticated attack using modern weapons and communications equipment is impossible without preparation by the Pakistani group Lashkar-e-Taiba (recognized as a terrorist, banned in the Russian Federation).
"One of the attackers was identified by the central intelligence services as Musa (code name), who was also most likely involved in the May 2024 attack on an Indian Air Force (IAF) convoy in Poonch," the article noted.
According to investigators, the militants entered India after years of training in Pakistan.
On April 22, a group of terrorists attacked civilians and tourists in the Baisaran Valley in Pahalgam in southern Kashmir. As a result, 27 people were killed, including foreigners, women and the elderly.
On April 24, India suspended the issuance of visas for Pakistani citizens, ordering them to leave the country by April 27.
In response, Pakistan declared Indian military advisers persona non grata. Islamabad has also suspended all bilateral agreements with India, including trade between the two countries. Pakistan's airspace will also be closed to all Indian airlines.
