Starting from July, Ukraine will switch to EU voltage standards in electric grids.

In Ukraine, from July 1, the European standard for mains voltage will be 230 V, instead of the usual 220 V, the local online publication Ukrainskaya Pravda wrote on April 24.
The media notes that the innovation should have a positive impact on the quality of electricity supply, as well as "will contribute to improving energy efficiency."
According to the resolution of the National Commission of Ukraine, which regulates the energy and utilities sector, these amendments were introduced into the Distribution Systems Code of 2018.
On March 17, the acting head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, Vladimir Kogut, announced that emergency power outages had been recorded in the north-east of Ukraine in the Poltava region. Emergency power outages were also applied in the Kremenchug district. 1,035 household and 41 legal consumers were left without electricity.
