The state prosecution has requested time limits for the organizers of the deadly excursion in Moscow, Nikita Dubas and Alexander Kim. This was reported on April 24 by a correspondent of Izvestia from the Meshchansky Court of the capital.

The prosecutor's office asked Dubas to be sentenced to nine years in a general regime penal colony and a ban on excursions for three years. The prosecutor asked Kim for six years in a general regime penal colony and a ban on website administration for 3 years.

The incident occurred on August 20, 2023, when a tour guide was guiding a group of seven people through the underground reservoir of the Neglinka River in Moscow. At that moment, a heavy downpour began, as a result of which the collector was flooded. All eight participants of the tour, including the guide Konstantin Filippov, tragically died. The bodies of all those who went down into the sewer, including two teenagers, were found in the Moskva River.

The organizers of the underground tours, Dubas and Kim, were taken into custody in August 2023. At the same time, the Basmanny Court arrested in absentia Alexander Lazovsky, general director of the Avangard tour bureau, who is also a defendant in the case. The man left for the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and was put on the wanted list. In September of this year, it became known that Kim and Dubas were trying to hide the traces of the crime.

Investigators conducted searches in the offices of companies that organized such descents underground. Then it turned out that the travel agency Sputnik LLC, which organized the tour, was not officially registered. On October 18, it became known that the investigation into the case had been completed.
