China launched the Shenzhou-20 spacecraft with three taikonauts into space. This was reported on April 24 by China Central Television, which was broadcasting live.

The crew consists of three taikonauts: Chen Dong (commander), Chen Zhongrui and Wang Jie. The team will work at the orbital laboratory until October.

The launch took place at 12:17 Moscow time on the National Cosmonautics Day in China. The crew will replace the team of the previous Shenzhou-19 mission who stayed at the Tiangong station for six months.

On April 19, six new Shiyan-27 satellites were launched in northern China's Shanxi Province for space exploration. This was the 570th space flight for the Long March-6 rocket series.
