Cherry blossoms have begun in Yessentuki

Cherry blossoms began in Yessentuki (Stavropol Territory). You can admire the natural phenomenon within the next 10 days, said Mayor Vladimir Krutnikov.
"For many years now, for the May holidays, the symbol of the beginning of the high holiday season has been blooming on our Andzhievsky Street," said the mayor, quoted by StavropolMedia news agency.
Pink flowers strewed the branches of trees on the territory of one of the sanatoriums. The plants have been pleasing residents and guests of the resort for a quarter of a century — the seedlings were brought from the Volgograd nursery and they took root perfectly in Stavropol.
Earlier in April, a real Japanese sakura blossomed in the botanical garden of the Moscow State University "Aptekarsky Ogorod" in Moscow. The tree was brought to the Russian capital from the slopes of Fujiyama.
