Argumenty I Fakty has prepared a special thematic issue of the newspaper for the Victory anniversary. The weekly was released on April 23 throughout Russia in an increased circulation. The issue includes exclusive reports and interviews, historical essays and chronicles, unique materials about how the country was on its way to the Great Victory and what had already been done for life after the war.

"At the end of last year and the beginning of this year, Argumenty I Fakty prepared a number of significant projects about the war. First of all, this is a series of reports by Georgy Zotov dedicated to memorials at the sites of Hitler's concentration camps. Today, the Europeans are covering up for the fascists, trying to pretend that the prisoners were not freed by the Red Army, but by unknown well-wishers, and the concentration camps themselves were almost recreation centers. Georgy Zotov reminded everyone how it really was, and his work became the basis of a large-scale Internet project "We won!"

The project also includes a series of historical essays by Konstantin Kudryashov, "Steps of Victory," which immerses us in the battle events of eighty years ago. A special place in the large-scale special project is occupied by the "Invincibles" section, which includes a series of video interviews with war and home front veterans who have survived to the present day. Argumenty I Fakty has long ceased to be just a weekly newspaper. We shoot videos, actively work on social networks, and our website aif.ru It attracts millions of users every day. At the same time, the newspaper remains the most widely read in the country. Therefore, we decided to combine all our digital projects dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in one paper issue. We have successfully implemented this idea. By the way, the results of the poetry contest of our readers dedicated to the Victory were also summarized in this issue. Readers support us, and the materials dedicated to the Victory arouse tremendous interest and a lively response. Both readers and employees of AIF understand: We are all children and grandchildren of Victory. If it weren't for her, we simply wouldn't exist," Mikhail Chkanikov, editor—in-chief of Argumenty I Fakty publishing house, comments on the event.

April is full of projects for Argumenty I Fakty publishing House on the eve of the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory. AiF launched an advertising campaign and congratulated all readers and residents of major cities of the country on the upcoming holiday. The large-scale spring advertising campaign includes a series of billboards, city formats and supersites, as well as placement on the MAER media facades in the largest hero cities of Moscow, St. Petersburg and Volgograd, as well as in the Cities of military glory Vladivostok, Khabarovsk and Voronezh.

The slogan of the advertising campaign "Russia has two allies: Arguments and Facts!" is featured on outdoor advertising posters and is broadcast on major federal radio stations.

AiF also tells tens of millions of radio listeners about the educational project "We have won!" in the format of audio clips. The project is "alive" and will be updated throughout the year with new materials about the celebration of the 80th anniversary of Victory in the regions of Russia.

"The Victory Anniversary is always an important date, one of the key events in the life of our country. This holiday connects the present and the past, paying tribute to the memory of the real heroes — the saviors of the country and the world. It is important for the majority of the population, because generations are still alive who saw the war, waited for their loved ones, honored the winners and rebuilt the country, passing on the memory of these events to younger generations.

AiF is always actively involved in covering both historical facts and many events dedicated to the names and dates of the Great Patriotic War. All our projects, ideas and content come from the heart. It's always something unique and exclusive. Sincerity is something that cannot be faked, and the audience always feels and perceives it. We are truly proud of our projects, which live a long time and become the "calling card" of the AiF brand," says Ruslan Novikov, CEO of Argumenty I Fakty publishing house.
