The Washington Capitals hockey team has won its second consecutive victory over Montreal in the National Hockey League (NHL) playoffs.

The match on the night of April 24 ended with a score of 3:1. Connor McMichael (two goals) and Dylan Strome scored goals for Washington, while Christian Dvorak scored the only goal for Montreal.

It is noted that Russian forward Alexander Ovechkin spent 14 minutes and 23 seconds on the ice, without showing any effective actions and finishing the match with a score of -1.

On April 23, it was reported that Kirill Kaprizov, a Russian striker for the Minnesota Wild hockey club, became the first star of the second match of the NHL playoff series with the Vegas Golden Knights. During the game, he was able to set two new club records.
