The Popular Front handed over a vehicle and communications equipment to the Russian Armed Forces (AF) attack aircraft on the line of combat contact. Ahmed, the former commander of the detachment, arrived in Rostov-on-Don on April 24 to transfer the equipment, the organization's press service reported.

The All-Russian movement has sent UAZ SGR military personnel with a set of anti-splinter blankets for evacuating the wounded, as well as batteries for drones and night vision devices, said Alexey Miroshnichenko, head of the executive committee in the Rostov region.

The former commander of the detachment, Ahmed, with the call sign Tuman, said that he turned to the Popular Front because he was not indifferent to the fate of his colleagues.

In February 2024, he was hit by a mine during a combat mission, and his leg was amputated. The former commander is currently undergoing rehabilitation in a Moscow hospital, but continues to support his squad.

"Since I was injured, I've been thinking every day about how to get back to the front as soon as possible. My health doesn't allow it yet. The only thing I can do now is to support the guys through someone in any way so that the squad does not doubt that the commander will return," Ahmed said.

He also called on Russians to support the servicemen of the Russian Armed Forces and take part in the fundraising of the "Everything for Victory!" foundation.

Earlier, on April 18, it was reported that the Popular Front, in memory of the deceased Izvestia military correspondent Alexander Fedorchak, handed over equipment purchased at the expense of the Everything for Victory Foundation to the soldiers of the 36th Motorized Rifle Regiment of the 25th Army. It is specified that Fedorchak worked closely with the all-Russian movement, planned to open a gathering to help soldiers of the Russian Armed Forces.
