Air defense forces shot down 87 Ukrainian drones over Russia overnight

During the night, 87 Ukrainian drones (UAVs) were destroyed in the skies over the regions of the Russian Federation. The Russian Defense Ministry informed about this on April 24.

"During the past night, 87 Ukrainian aircraft—type unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed and intercepted by air defense systems on duty," the department's Telegram channel reported.

Most of the drones were eliminated over the territory of the Republic of Crimea — 45 UAVs were destroyed there. Ten drones were also shot down over the Belgorod and Kursk regions, eight over the Voronezh region, and four drones over the Bryansk, Lipetsk and Nizhny Novgorod regions. Two drones were eliminated over the Moscow region.

Earlier, on April 23, the Russian Defense Ministry reported the destruction of 11 enemy drones overnight by air defense systems. They were eliminated in the skies over the Tula, Kursk, Belgorod, Kaluga, Bryansk and Oryol regions and the Republic of Crimea.
