The Ministry of Emergency Situations has increased the number of firefighters in the Trans-Baikal Territory

In the Trans-Baikal Territory, the group of firefighters has been increased to control the situation in the region. This was announced on April 24 by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations.

They noted that the airmobile groups arrived in Transbaikalia on behalf of the head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation, Alexander Kurenkov. There are 50 firefighters in two trains from Khabarovsk and Krasnoyarsk.

"Firefighters are armed with all the necessary equipment for extinguishing and monitoring the situation. In addition, two IL-76 aircraft of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations have arrived in the region," the agency's Telegram channel says.

The day before, a federal emergency regime was introduced in the Trans-Baikal Territory. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation, the region has a high wind load in certain areas with gusts of more than 20 m/s.

Earlier, on April 21, the press service of the department reported that an airmobile group consisting of 50 people and seven pieces of equipment was also sent to Transbaikalia from Khabarovsk.
