Konyukhov shared his emotions from the interrupted expedition.

Russian traveler Fyodor Konyukhov, evacuated during a solo sea expedition from South America to Australia, arrived in Dalian, China, on April 24. He told Izvestia about his emotions from the interrupted expedition.
On this day, Konyukhov arrived at the Dalian visa application center, where he was greeted by representatives of the Russian diaspora.
"There have been many such situations, I live a lot, travel a lot. This is not the first of the ten expeditions. <...> I've had storms all the time," he noted.
According to the traveler, in case of adverse weather conditions on expeditions, he always has a plan — a pre-thought-out algorithm of actions helped him to last 114 days on the current trip.
"I was a little upset," Konyukhov shared his thoughts on the completion of the expedition, adding that he would definitely go sailing again.
Konyukhov became the first in history to cross the South Atlantic on a rowing boat. On March 15, it was reported that the traveler spent 100 days in the Southern Ocean, having covered about half of the route from South America to Australia on the rowing boat Akros.
The voyage was designed for about 200 days, but on the 114th day Konyukhov completed the crossing of two oceans due to numerous failures of the ship's control and life support systems. The next day, in the middle of the Indian Ocean, he boarded a cargo ship bound for China.
