One person died in a fire in an apartment building in Yekaterinburg.


As a result of a fire in a multi-storey apartment building in Yekaterinburg, one person died, two were rescued, and ten got out on their own before the arrival of firefighters. This was reported on April 24 on the website of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Sverdlovsk region.
"On Thursday, April 24, at 05:44 (03:44 Moscow time), a fire was reported at the address: Anna Bychkova St., Yekaterinburg, Sverdlovsk Region. On an area of 12 sq. m. "Household property was damaged in an apartment located on the seventh floor of a seven—storey municipal apartment building," the report says.
The ministry clarified that nine personnel participated in extinguishing the fire with the help of three pieces of equipment.
On April 22, the Main Directorate of the Russian Emergencies Ministry for the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug — Yugra reported that one child was killed and one injured in a fire in Surgut. It was clarified that eight pieces of equipment and 26 people, including employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation, were involved in extinguishing the fire.
