- The calculation of the self-propelled gun 2S7M "Malka" destroyed the control point of the drone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the special operation zone

The calculation of the self-propelled artillery installation (ACS) 2S7M "Malka" of the Center group of forces destroyed the control point for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Red Army area in the area of a special military operation. This was announced on April 24 by the Russian Defense Ministry.
The ministry clarified that the Ukrainian positions were located in one of the houses of the settlement. Immediately after receiving the coordinates of the target, the crew moved into a combat position and struck with 203-millimeter high-explosive shells, each of which weighs more than 110 kg.
The fire was adjusted by UAV operators. The first shell, launched from a distance of more than 25 km, hit exactly the target, the second destroyed a neighboring building housing the personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as militant vehicles.
"We mainly work on fortified areas, on enemy equipment. The senior officer of the battery, the platoon commander, gives us the command to fight, immediately the mechanic runs and starts the car. We're leaving with everyone: with calculations, with arrows. We drive up to the firing position <...> and immediately start working on command," said Arkady Konakov, commander of the gun.
After completing all the assigned tasks, the gunners leave the firing position and return to a safe place. Military personnel work daily and can hit any targets.
On April 23, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the crews of attack aircraft on Su-25 aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces destroyed armored vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of responsibility of the South group of forces.
