The United States is experiencing more difficulties in negotiations with Ukraine than with Russia, with which agreements have been practically reached. This was announced on April 23 by US President Donald Trump, answering questions from reporters at the White House.
Trump also admitted that it is much more difficult for him to deal with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky than he initially expected.
"I think Russia is ready <...>. I think we have a deal with Russia. We need to come to an agreement with Zelensky. <...> I thought it would be easier with Zelensky. So far, it's a little more complicated, but that's okay," he said.
