The correspondent of Zvezda, Goldin, who was wounded in the LPR, died in hospital.

Nikita Goldin, a correspondent of the Zvezda TV channel, who was wounded in the shelling of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Luhansk People's Republic (LNR), he died in hospital from his injuries. This was reported by the Krasnaya Zvezda newspaper on April 24.

"A military journalist, an officer of the Red Star editorial and publishing center, Lieutenant Nikita Maksimovich Goldin, died from injuries sustained as a result of an attack by Ukrainian militants in the special military operation zone," the publication says.

According to the newspaper, the correspondent died early on April 22. Goldin was in a medical facility, however, despite the efforts of doctors, it was not possible to save him.

The Zvezda TV channel reported on March 25 that Goldin was seriously injured as a result of an attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the LPR. Ukrainian militants launched a targeted strike with two HIMARS missiles at a civilian vehicle carrying media representatives.

On March 24, it became known about the death of Izvestia correspondent Alexander Fedorchak in the SVR zone. On the same day, Andrey Panov, a cameraman for the Zvezda TV channel, and Alexander Sirkeli, the driver of the film crew, were also killed in the special operation zone. He and Goldin worked on the same set with Fedorchak.
