The Danish government has decided to allocate about 317 million kronor ($48.1 million) to Estonia for the purchase of artillery ammunition for Ukraine. This was announced on April 23 on the website of the press service of the Danish Ministry of Defense.
"Ukraine has a great need for continuous supplies of artillery ammunition of various calibers. With the help of donations from spakke XXV, it was decided to finance the transfer of various types of artillery ammunition through Estonia for about 317 million crowns," the press service said.
In addition, Danish Defense Minister Troels Poulsen clarified that the state has already confirmed its readiness to support Ukraine. According to him, Denmark and Estonia should provide support to the Kiev regime in other areas, in particular in strengthening IT security.
On April 22, it was reported that the United Kingdom had signed contracts worth $40.1 million for the supply of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to Ukraine. It was clarified that the relevant documents were signed in the framework of cooperation with New Zealand.
