On April 23, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova called the words of Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski about Vladivostok a set of absurd theses.

Earlier in the day, Sikorsky said that Russia would never "rule" in Kiev, Vilnius, Riga, Tallinn and Chisinau. In addition, he recommended that Moscow take care of its own territories, for example, Vladivostok, which he called in Chinese - Haishenwei, said "Газета.ги ".

"A classic example is when a person argues with himself, argues bitterly and hopes to defeat an "opponent." A set of absurd theses," Zakharova told TASS.

She also noted that Sikorsky, as the foreign minister of the NATO country, has something to do. The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry noted that Sikorsky could pay attention to the problem of the dispute between the alliance's accomplices regarding the ownership of Greenland, the collapse of the German economy, the unstable situation in New Caledonia due to France's failed policy, human rights violations in the Baltic States and much more.

"Without the Polish Foreign Ministry, NATO members will not figure out these issues. As soon as all the problems of NATO are solved, let them immediately take on the EU," Zakharova stressed.

On the same day, Sikorski promised to support NATO countries that want to send troops to Ukraine, but the country itself will not do so. He also noted that without Poland, it would be impossible to provide assistance to Ukraine, since most Western aid comes there through Poland.
