Milorad Dodik, President of the Republika Srpska (RS), was tried to be detained by employees of the State Investigation and Security Agency (SIPA) in Eastern Sarajevo on the territory of the RS. This was announced on April 23 by the Internet portal Klix.ba .

"Employees of the State Investigation and Security Agency (SIPA) today tried to detain the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, but they were resisted by employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the RS," the publication says.

The portal noted that SIPA officers wanted to detain the president in the RS government building, where he arrived for a meeting with the mayor and heads of municipalities of East Sarajevo. Republika Srpska Radio and Television clarified that SIPA inspectors tried to give Dodik a summons to appear at the police station.

On March 12, the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) decided to detain the President and Prime Minister of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik and Radovan Viskovic. It was clarified that they were accused of allegedly encroaching on the constitutional order.
