The weather forecaster told about the weather on the May holidays in Moscow

Alexander Ilyin, a forecaster at the Meteo forecasting center, told what kind of weather is expected in Moscow in early May.

In conversation with aif.ru On Wednesday, April 23, the specialist noted that +15...+20 degrees are expected in the capital on May Day. According to him, the cold snap, which is expected in the city at the end of this week, will last no more than a couple of days. After that, the temperature will start to rise again. It will exceed the 10-degree mark on Tuesday, April 29. And on May 1, it is predicted to reach +20 degrees.

Ilyin added that the wave processes that are taking place are rapid enough, so the warming may shift by a day.

Tatiana Pozdnyakova, a leading specialist at the Meteonosti news agency, told earlier in the day 360.ru that all natural processes develop with a certain cyclicity. If the air is coming from the south, then it gets warmer in Moscow, and the weather resembles more summer than spring. Then cold air will come from the rear, and cold will set in in the capital with a predominance of north or northeast wind.

On April 21, Pozdnyakova reported that a cold snap is expected in the capital this week, with wet snow possible at the end.

On the same day, the scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia, Roman Vilfand, called the "July" heat in Central Russia prohibitive. According to him, last Sunday the average daily temperature in Moscow was +20.1 degrees.
