A teenager in the city of Staraya Russa, Novgorod region, was stabbed in the stomach at a stadium during a fight. This was reported on April 23 in the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the region.

"It has been preliminarily established that today there was a conflict between two minors born in 2011 and 2012 at the Sokol Stadium, during which one of the participants in the fight stabbed his opponent in the stomach," the department said in a statement on its Telegram channel.

It is specified that the victim was hospitalized. An investigation is underway into the incident.

Earlier in the day, it was reported that two 17-year-old teenagers were hospitalized after a gun fight in the town of Prokhladny in Kabardino-Balkaria. As a result of the fight, the students were taken to the hospital with chest wounds, a head hematoma and incised wounds.
