Skolkovo reported an increase in residents' revenue

In 2024, the revenue of Skolkovo residents increased by 38% compared to 2023 and amounted to 704.3 billion rubles. This was reported by the press service of the Skolkovo Foundation (VEB Group. Russian Federation) based on the results of the meeting of the Board of Directors of the fund.

"Technological leadership is one of the key areas of VEB Group's new strategy. Until 2030, the role of Skolkovo participating companies is extremely important for the successful implementation of relevant national projects. The results of Skolkovo's strategic objectives for 2024 were presented by Sergey Perov, Chairman of the Fund's Management Board. The weighted average percentage of their execution was 101.23%.

"In 2024, we managed to overcome the trend of the previous two years of an annual reduction in investments attracted by the Skolkovo project participants. The volume of extra-budgetary funds amounted to a record 42.6 billion rubles, with an increase of 34% compared to the previous year, exceeding by 10% the best result achieved in 2021. In total, from 2013 to 2024, residents raised 220 billion rubles. Investment mentoring and compensation programs for business angels have contributed," said Sergey Perov, Chairman of the Board of the Skolkovo Foundation.

As it was indicated during the meeting, as of the end of 2024, 4,684 companies have the status of a participant in the Skolkovo project, which is 19.7% more than a year earlier. They provide jobs to more than 118 thousand employees. In 2024, 1164 patents were obtained by Skolkovo resident companies, of which 319 were in foreign countries.

In the cumulative total for 2021-2024, 607 resident companies used the mechanism of seamless integration of measures to support development institutions, and companies operating in the field of biomedical technologies showed particularly good growth dynamics in 2024.
