A pregnant resident of Kaspiysk beat her young daughter to death

A resident of Kaspiysk in Dagestan beat her young daughter to death. This was reported on April 23 in the joint press service of the courts of general jurisdiction of the republic.

"Being six months pregnant, in a fit of rage, she inflicted numerous punches on various parts of her young daughter's body," the department's Telegram channel says.

After that, the child fell into a coma and died without regaining consciousness, a month later in the hospital. A criminal case has been opened against the woman on the fact of intentionally causing serious harm to health, which negligently resulted in the death of the victim.

The accused is currently in custody until May 21, 2025. The court also has a statement of claim from the social protection authorities for the deprivation of parental rights of the accused, who has three more children in her care.

On April 14, a woman was detained in Kansk, who killed her three children with an axe — a four-year-old girl and two boys aged seven months and eight years. On April 15, the defendant was charged, and the next day she was arrested. The woman fully admitted her guilt.
