Peskov called the withdrawal of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from new regions of the Russian Federation a condition for ending the conflict.

To end the conflict, Ukraine must withdraw its troops from the regions that have become part of Russia. This was announced on April 23 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov in an interview with the French magazine Le Point.

"If Ukraine had withdrawn its troops from these four regions, then yes," he said, answering a question about whether the conflict would have ended if the Ukrainian militants had withdrawn from the new territories.
