Sharks mauled a father of four off the coast of Israel

The remains of a diver who was the victim of a shark attack have been discovered in Israel, the Associated Press (AP) reported on April 23.
The country's police said that the remains found at the site of a shark attack on the Mediterranean coast of the country match the body of a man. According to AP, the deceased is 40—year-old Barak Tsakh, the father of four children.
"Barak entered the water to dive and shoot the sharks, not to feed them or play with them," said Sarit Tsah, the victim's wife.
A school of endangered dark and sand sharks has been swimming near the area for many years. Swimming on the beach is strictly prohibited, but swimmers still enter the water, the agency notes.
According to the head of the marine Rangers of the Israel Nature and Parks Authority, Yigal Ben-Ari, this was only the third recorded shark attack in the country. The Israeli authorities have closed this beach and nearby ones after an attack by predatory fish.
Earlier, on April 17, a Russian tourist was injured due to a shark attack during an excursion in the Maldives. According to the girl, the incident occurred closer to the end of the tour, after half an hour of swimming with sharks.
