FSB officers discovered a large cache of foreign weapons of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the DPR

FSB officers in the village of Kurakhovka in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) discovered a cache of foreign weapons and ammunition. This was reported on April 24 in the press service of the FSB of the Russian Federation.

"As a result of the operational and combat activities of the Russian FSB Directorate for the Donetsk People's Republic, a cache of foreign weapons and ammunition was found in the building of school No. 22 in the village of Kurakhovka, liberated from the Ukrainian Nazis," the report said.

Law enforcement officers seized two NATO-style assault rifles, four Kalashnikov assault rifles, four hand grenade launchers, four pistols, two man-portable air defense missile systems (MANPADS) of the NATO model, 29 hand grenades, 50 cluster munitions, eight thermite incendiary shells, 40 kg. of TNT, 4,300 rounds of various calibers.

According to the press service, weapons and ammunition will be transferred to the Russian Ministry of Defense for use.

Larisa Drogobit, a local resident of Kurakhovka, said that the hired military appeared here two years ago.

"In 2022, when active hostilities began, the military of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) settled here. In 2023, foreign mercenaries appeared... They threatened people with eviction from their homes," Drogobit said.

In addition, another resident reported that there were Poles, Germans, and Georgians among the soldiers. According to a third, the local population was even threatened that they would find the children and destroy them.

Earlier, on April 18, in the DPR, in an abandoned building, the Russian Guard found a cache of Ukrainian Armed Forces with Western-made weapons. A Belgian machine gun, grenades, a mortar shell, as well as TNT sticks and cartridges of various calibers were found.
