The heroic history of Russia and the struggle for truth will be discussed at the marathon "Knowledge.The first ones"

Why it is important to become a participant of the educational marathon "Knowledge.The first ones" in honor of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, said his lecturers, those who know firsthand about the defense of the Fatherland. Heroes of Russia, participants in a special military operation, and war correspondents will take part in a large-scale educational event of the Znanie Society and tell about their service to the country. The lectures, which will take place at the central venue in Moscow, will also be broadcast on Znanie.TV on the website of the Znanie Society and in the official group of the educational organization on VKontakte. The official partner of the marathon is the Alabuga Special Economic Zone.

Marathon "Knowledge.The First", dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, will be held from April 28 to 30 and will cover all federal districts. Prominent people of our country will meet with young people to discuss the meaning and significance of the Great Victory, honor the exploits of the defenders of the Motherland together, and reflect on the lessons of the past.

The children will learn about what it means to be the heirs of Victory from an open dialogue between military personnel awarded the title Hero of the Russian Federation: Chairman of the Board of the Movement of the First Artur Orlov, Chief of the General Staff of the All-Russian Military Patriotic Movement Yunarmiya Vladislav Golovin and tank company commander, Major Andrey Mityashin.

The head of the Movement of the First, Hero of Russia, participant of the Time of Heroes program, Artur Orlov, noted that he willingly accepted the offer to speak at the Znanie Society marathon and is very much looking forward to meeting with the program participants.

"The memory of the heroic deed of our people during the Great Patriotic War causes a feeling of great pride for the country. It unites different generations and gives us inspiration for future achievements. This is where the "Movement of the First" draws its strength, developing its patriotic programs and projects for more than two years. The marathon of the Russian Society "Znanie" is an important event that will help the First, the entire new generation of youth, to see their destiny in the modern history of Russia through the prism of the 80th anniversary of the Victory," said Artur Orlov.

The participants of the upcoming marathon were greeted by Vladislav Golovin (String), Chief of the General Staff of the All-Russian Military and Patriotic Public Movement Yunarmiya, participant of the Time of Heroes program, Hero of the Russian Federation.

"The history of our country is full of examples of courage and dedication. Love for the Motherland is at the heart of every feat. We will not forget the courage of the front-line soldiers during the Great Patriotic War and we will praise the participants of the special operation who defend the interests of the Fatherland in our days. The task of each unarmee is to preserve the memory of the country's heroic past. Marathon "Knowledge.The First", dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, will give its participants the opportunity to communicate directly with the Heroes, military officers, to ask their questions. Such formats are the best way to preserve and pass on the country's historical heritage to the younger generation. And the unarmymen are happy and actively participating in the marathon," Vladislav Golovin noted.

Participant of the marathon Znanie.Alexander Kots, a military correspondent for Komsomolskaya Pravda, will also be the first. During his career in the media, Alexander has worked in Kosovo, Afghanistan, the North Caucasus, Libya, Syria, Egypt, Iraq, and Nagorno-Karabakh. Since the beginning of his career, he has been constantly covering events in the war zone.

In total, over 25 thousand young people will gather at the marathon. More than 130 lecturers are waiting for them: famous statesmen, heroes of the country, war correspondents, business leaders, scientists, masters of culture and sports. On the first day, the project's events will take place at venues in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Sevastopol, Vladikavkaz, Kazan, Omsk, Perm, Ryazan, Salekhard, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk and the DPR. On the second and third days, the marathon will continue at the central venue, the Victory Museum on Poklonnaya Gora in Moscow.

The first federal educational marathon Znanie.The first took place in May 2021 and became a symbol of the reboot of "Knowledge". For four years, the project has established itself as a popular platform for direct communication between top officials of the state and young people. Each marathon is a time of discovery, a source of inspiration and positive emotions for its participants.
