The Foreign Ministry has banned a number of members of the British Parliament from entering Russia.

Russia has imposed retaliatory personal sanctions against members of the British Parliament and banned them from entering the territory of the Russian Federation. This was reported on the website of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on April 23.

"In response to London's ongoing confrontational course <...>, it was decided to include a number of members of the British Parliament on the Russian stop list," the statement said.

The so-called stop list includes 21 representatives of the British Parliament. It is specified that the Russian side will continue to work on expanding the list.
