Myanmar has suspended flights with Russia

Flights between Russia and Myanmar have been suspended due to low traffic and the earthquake. Stanislav Taravkov, commercial director of Tolmachevo Airport, told reporters at the TASS press center.
"To date, Myanmar has canceled all flights in the spring-summer schedule, so there is no loading, as well as the planes of this airline, unfortunately. Before that, when they were running the program, the workload was not very high," he said.
As Taravkov noted, the airport was trying to support Myanmar Airways International (MAI) through promotions and the collection of travel organizations. He said that the cancellation of flights to Novosibirsk was influenced, among other things, by the recent earthquake in Myanmar.
Earlier, on March 29, earthquakes of magnitude 7.7 and 6.4 were recorded in Myanmar, neighboring Thailand. Subsequently, the fluctuations reached Bangkok and its surroundings.
The death toll from the earthquake in Myanmar has exceeded 3.7 thousand, more than 5 thousand were injured and injured. In addition, 130 people are missing.
