Detonation remains in the Kirzhachsky district of the Vladimir region, so it is premature to return evacuated residents to their homes. This was announced on April 23 by the Governor of the Vladimir region, Alexander Avdeev.

"The emergency situation is of a municipal nature, the response level is local. The dynamics are good, but so far the detonation persists. Therefore, it is premature to make decisions on the return of evacuated residents to their homes and the resumption of work of all enterprises," the Telegram channel says.

The operational headquarters in the Kirzhachsky district established the boundaries of the emergency zone. According to the governor, the village of Barsovo suffered the most due to the detonation. Also, 37 settlements in the area are currently without gas.

In addition, Avdeev instructed the district administration, together with the military, to restore damaged houses.

The detonation of ammunition occurred on April 22 as a result of a fire on the territory of a military unit, the Russian Defense Ministry said. The cause of the fire was called a violation of safety requirements when working with explosive materials.

Later it became known that four people were injured due to the incident, three of them were hospitalized. On April 23, Avdeev reported that no major damage had been recorded in the settlements of the Kirzhachsky district after the detonation of ammunition.
