The authorities need to support the participants in the special military operation (SVO), including through the introduction of federal property tax benefits. This was announced on April 23 by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin at an expanded meeting of the Board of the Ministry of Finance at the Rossiya National Center.
He noted the importance of tax support for the participants of the special operation and their families. According to Mishustin, there is now a wide range of relevant benefits in the country, but not all of them operate at the federal level.
"I think it's right to envisage the introduction of nationwide benefits on property taxes for our soldiers and their loved ones," the head of government said.
Earlier, on April 9, Mishustin stated the need for urgent implementation of uniform standards of support for fighters in the work of the country's social institutions. In addition, he stressed that providing military veterans with disabilities with technical means of rehabilitation should be as convenient and understandable as possible.
