A financial and economic class has been opened in the Boarding school of the Ministry of Defense pupils

A high-tech financial and economic class named after L. V. Kantorovich with a museum exposition "The History of Banking in Russia" was opened in the Boarding School of pupils of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation with the support of the PSB, the bank's press service said. Vera Podguzova, Senior Vice President and Director of External Relations at the PSB, spoke at the opening ceremony.

"By opening a new classroom, we want to interest the boarding school students in mathematics, economics and finance, and light up new stars. Perhaps some of the girls will want to connect their lives with banking. There is a quote from Leonid Vitalievich Kantorovich that the most important thing is to create and do good for people, this message, in his opinion, should underlie all scientific research and achievements and as a result lead to the preservation and multiplication of human capital. This should be borne in mind when choosing a future profession," Podguzova said.

The financial and economic class was named after the outstanding Russian mathematician, Nobel laureate in Economics L. V. Kantorovich. The study room also has a museum exhibit that covers the period from the 18th century to the present day and allows you to trace how the country's financial system was formed. The exhibition includes banknotes, historical documents, portraits and quotations of prominent historical figures.
