Restrictions on the operation of Kazan and Nizhnekamsk airports have been lifted


Temporary restrictions on the boarding and departure of civilian flights in Kazan and Nizhnekamsk airports have been lifted. This was announced on April 23 by the representative of the Federal Air Transport Agency Artem Korenyako.
"At the airports of Kazan and Nizhnekamsk (Begishevo) at 14:07 Moscow time, restrictions on the reception and release of aircraft were lifted," Korenyako wrote on his Telegram channel.
He pointed out that the measures were introduced to ensure flight safety, the crews and ground services coped with this. During the restrictions, five planes bound for Kazan left for alternate airfields.
On the same day, temporary restrictions were imposed at the airports of Kazan, Ulyanovsk and Nizhnekamsk. They were later removed. Then, at 12:10 Moscow time, the reception and departure of flights were re—restricted in Nizhnekamsk, and at 12:45 Moscow time in Kazan.
