Sobyanin visited the new building of the Kalashnikov concern in Technopolis Moscow

A new production complex of the Kalashnikov concern has opened at the Pechatniki site of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, who visited the facility, said in his Telegram channel.

"Today, the Special Economic Zone is the center of the capital's advanced high—tech industry. More than 220 enterprises are located here and over 22,000 jobs have been created. Technopolis Moscow is actively developing the city. Every year it grows by hundreds of thousands of square meters of space. There are even more ambitious tasks ahead and new technologies that will create the future of our country," Sergei Sobyanin wrote.

The new Kalashnikov Concern building has become another high-tech project of technopolis Moscow. The room was made large-span, without internal columns, which allows you to place equipment of any configuration and size inside. Two unique hydraulic lifts will be able to move loads up to 7 tons between floors, which will speed up the execution of technological processes several times. And the innovative facade made of stemalite, awarded the national award "Best Industrial Design of Russia 2024", significantly reduces heat loss. The company will employ more than 1,000 specialists.
