Weather forecasters warned residents of the Trans-Baikal Territory about a significant increase in wind. A special fire protection regime continues to operate in the region.

According to forecasts, on April 24, the wind gust speed will reach 25-28 m/s. The ChitaMedia news agency writes about this. The Ministry of Emergency Situations recommends residents of the region not to leave cars under billboards, trees and near shaky buildings.

Bonfires and open-fire work are prohibited in the territory of Transbaikalia. Administrative liability is provided for violations.

Earlier, forecasters predicted heavy rain and thunderstorms in the Moscow region on April 23 and 24.
