In the Trans-Baikal Territory, the permitted time for the sale of alcoholic beverages will be changed. Deputies of the regional legislative assembly adopted the relevant bill in the second reading.

Currently, alcohol is allowed to be sold from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. The updated law will allow the sale of alcohol from 12 to 22 hours. This is reported by the ChitaMedia news agency.

The restriction is aimed at reducing alcohol consumption by the population and creating conditions for a healthy lifestyle. The updated law will come into effect in the fall.
