Putin spoke about the supply of 1.5 million drones to the Russian Armed Forces last year

Russian President Vladimir Putin said that last year the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation received more than 1.5 million drones (UAVs) of various types. The head of state announced this on April 23 at a meeting of the Military-Industrial Commission.

"More than one and a half million drones of various types have been delivered, including about 4,000 drones controlled by the so—called FPV virtual reality system," Putin said.

The President added that last year the production of weapons of destruction, communication systems, intelligence and electronic warfare (EW) doubled.
