General Putilov's property, accused of corruption, was seized for 12 million rubles.

Major General Denis Putilov, the head of the armored vehicle service of the Central Military District, who is accused of taking a particularly large bribe during the execution of a state defense order, has had funds in the amount of 12 million rubles seized. This was announced on April 23 by the press service of the Investigative Committee of Russia.

"In order to secure a verdict regarding the collection of a fine, a civil lawsuit and property penalties, the court seized Putilov's property for a total amount of over 12 million rubles," the Telegram channel said.

According to the investigation, in 2023-2024, as part of the execution of the state defense order, a number of multimillion-dollar government contracts for the repair and maintenance of military vehicles were concluded with the defendant in the case. At the same time, in order to weaken control and obtain preferences in the future, the general received a bribe from a representative of IP Chudinov in the amount of 10 million rubles.

The general is currently in custody. The criminal case with the indictment has been sent to court.

The criminal case against Putilov was initiated in September last year. He was accused of committing a crime under Part 6 of Article 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Receiving a particularly large bribe"). It was clarified that the amount of contracts concluded with the sole proprietor amounted to more than 140 million rubles.
