VK's error collection and analysis service became available for the Aurora operating system, Izvestia was informed on April 23. Using the free Tracer tool, application developers on this OS will be able to track errors in real time and fix problems promptly.

VK and the Open Mobile Platform (OMP) company have integrated Tracer libraries with the system services of the Aurora operating system, preserving the security standards of each application. The Tracer tool is designed to monitor the stable operation of mobile applications and websites.

If problems occur, the service provides a detailed report with specific dependencies, sections, and modules, and the AI model analyzes the data and identifies possible causes of the failure. Developers save time searching for errors that cannot be identified during the testing phase, and receive ready-made troubleshooting recommendations.

"There are more and more projects on the Aurora OS, the ecosystem is actively developing. The domestic Tracer solution expands the developer's toolkit for the Aurora OS, offering more opportunities for high—quality software lifecycle support," said Nikita Dobrovolsky, head of the Open Mobile Platform project group.

Kirill Popov, Tracer project manager, added that several more significant updates to the tool will be introduced in 2025.

Earlier, on April 9, it was reported that the functionality of the free Tracer service became available for web development. Technicians can track errors, freezes, and failures in IT services in real time.
