The Dome of Donbass air defense and electronic warfare system prevented an attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on an energy facility in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). This was announced on April 23 by the FSB Department of Russia for the region.

"The Donbass Dome system prevented a terrorist attack by a Ukrainian UAV on an electrical substation in the Kuibyshev district of Donetsk," the report says.

It is noted that during the operation, a Ukrainian attack drone with a high-explosive charge was intercepted, after which explosives experts successfully neutralized it and destroyed explosive objects at the landfill.

The fighters will have the opportunity to prepare in advance to repel an air raid.

On April 21, it was reported that the "Dome of Donbass" thwarted 269 terrorist attacks by Ukrainian drones on civilians and the infrastructure of the DPR last week. It was clarified that the specialists of the explosives department of the FSB of Russia for the DPR used special technical means to disable the controls of drones and destroy explosive objects.
