Bobrovsky made 20 saves and helped Florida beat Tampa

The Florida Panthers beat the Tampa Bay Lightning in the first match of the first round of the National Hockey League (NHL) playoffs. The match on April 23 ended with a score of 6:2.

Matthew Tkachuk (25th and 30th minutes) and Nate Schmidt (25th and 46th minutes) scored doubles for the winners, while Sam Bennett (4th) and Sam Rinehart (20th) also scored goals. Florida goalkeeper Sergey Bobrovsky blocked 20 shots.

Jake Gunzel (13th) and Brayden Point (34th) scored among the players of the Tampa Bay Lightning Hockey Club (HC).

The next match will take place on Thursday, April 24, in Tampa.

Earlier, other matches of the first round of the NHL playoffs took place. The Carolina Hurricanes defeated the New Jersey Devils 4-1 on April 20, and the Los Angeles Kings defeated the Edmonton Oilers 6-5 on April 22.
