- A representative of the Georgian opposition told the pranksters about USAID's help to the protesters

On April 23, Russian pranksters Vladimir Kuznetsov and Alexey Stolyarov (Vovan and Lexus) had a conversation with a representative of the Georgian opposition and the head of the Democracy Research Institute, whose main goal is to support Georgia's Euro-Atlantic integration. Ucha Nanuashvili, where he spoke about how the Agency for International Development (USAID) and the US Embassy helped to organize mass protests in Georgia and about plans to strengthen them in the country.
It is noted that the conversation was conducted on behalf of Garry Kasparov (recognized in the Russian Federation as a foreign agent, included in the list of terrorists and extremists of Rosfinmonitoring).
"The positive scenario is that the demonstrations will continue, and the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe has called for new elections to be held in Georgia, to change this electoral environment in order to have a new administration <... > That is why we continue our protests. And we are preparing for big demonstrations. We also need to prolong these demonstrations and protests in many cities and towns as much as possible, as well as prepare for strikes," he said.
At the same time, Nanuashvili shared his opinion on the next steps of former Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili. According to him, she has now set up a new office where she will hold regular meetings.
"We expected that she was trying to create a new political party, but it is not yet clear what her decision would be, or maybe she would prefer to maintain this neutral position in order to try to unite and consolidate all democratic forces in Georgia. Which is also very important because the opposition does not always cooperate, some parties cooperate, that is, with each other, but some of them refuse to cooperate, and Salome's role would be very important in this process," he concluded.
In addition, Nanuashvili spoke about how USAID and the US Embassy helped and continues to help in carrying out mass protests in Georgia. He clarified that there are "unofficial units" in the country, like on the Maidan in Ukraine, there are also masked civilians, people from the ruling party and armed men from private security companies.
"They participated quite actively, especially during the election period. We had financial, political, and moral support, and we received it, especially from the United States. The European Union also supported us. And what is happening now. We are witnessing a kind of transition period due to changes in Washington and the White House, so it is still unclear how they will continue to operate and how support will continue. Therefore, we have more contacts and cooperation, more active cooperation with the EU member states," the oppositionist noted.
Earlier, on March 26, Vovan and Lexus presented a video conversation with Kosovo's Prime Minister Albin Kurti, which they conducted on behalf of Latvian President Edgars Rinkevich. When the conversation turned to Ukraine, Kurti said that the West was hatching plans to apply "military democracy" on the territory of the country. In an interview with the pranksters, the politician also shared plans to build an ammunition production plant in the republic.
