A man attacked a policeman in the Moscow region


In the village of Shemetovo, a man attacked a police officer with a knife. This was announced on March 23 by the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Moscow region.
"Near one of the houses located in the village of Shemetovo, they noticed a man who was acting suspiciously, nervous, looking around," Tatiana Petrova, head of the Information and Public Relations Department, was quoted in the department's Telegram channel.
The police officers approached the man, showed their identification cards and asked the man to produce identification documents. As a result, he was rude and stabbed one of the employees several times, after which he disappeared. The victim was taken to a medical facility.
The identity of the offender was established. He was taken to the territorial police department. The materials collected by the police were transferred to the investigative authorities.
On the same day, it was reported that in Derbent, a car driver opened fire on police officers and ran over one of the law enforcement officers. In response to the actions of the attacker, the police used their service weapons. The shooter died of his wounds. A pistol was found in his car.
