- In France, the military demanded to disclose information about participation in the conflict in Ukraine

In France, hundreds of soldiers demanded to disclose information about the country's involvement in the conflict in Ukraine. This was announced on April 22 on Sud Radio by the head of the Place d'Armes association, former gendarmerie captain Jean-Pierre Fabre-Bernadac.
It is noted that an open letter with a corresponding demand was sent to the heads of both houses of the French Parliament. Retired French military personnel, including more than two dozen generals, called for disclosing information about the presence of French Armed Forces personnel in Ukraine, as well as ensuring a parliamentary vote on their continued presence there.
"Our association is not the author of this text, it was prepared by a group of military men, including 26 generals. Place d'Armes only validated and supported their appeal by posting it on its website, where it is possible to sign it," he said.
French politician Florian Philippot said on April 7 that the French need to mobilize against the possible deployment of troops to Ukraine. He also recalled the words of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky that French troops would be the first to arrive in Ukraine.
