The plan of the American leader Donald Trump for the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict, which consists of seven points, may be presented in London on April 23. This was reported by The Telegraph newspaper on April 22, citing sources.

The first two points of the plan are expected to be a cease-fire and direct negotiations between Moscow and Kiev. The third point concerns the refusal of the Ukrainian side from membership in the North Atlantic Alliance (NATO). At the same time, she will still have the right to apply for membership in the European Union.

The fourth paragraph contains Ukraine's recognition of Russia's sovereignty over Crimea. The fifth point includes the transfer of the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant under the control of the United States, and the sixth is the signing by Kiev of a mining agreement that will provide American companies with access to the country's natural resources.

The seventh point raises the question of the possibility of forming a new relationship between the United States and Russia, arguing that all sanctions will be lifted and the two countries will be able to cooperate in the energy sector.

U.S. State Department spokeswoman Tammy Bruce said on April 22 that the United States is seeking a diplomatic settlement of the Ukrainian conflict and will await the results of negotiations with Ukraine, Britain and France in London on April 23.

At the same time, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov noted that the Russian Federation continues contacts with the United States on the Ukrainian issue through all possible channels. At the same time, he added that Moscow is not inclined to force a peaceful settlement into a tight time frame.
