- Producer Tolmatsky spoke about those responsible for the murder of musician Igor Talkov

Producer Alexander Tolmatsky, who witnessed the murder of singer Igor Talkov in 1991, suggested in a conversation with Izvestia that the guards and the performer himself, as well as the investigator investigating the case at the time, were to blame for the incident.
"In general, Talkov himself is to blame, he started shooting. Everything went wrong there, and this investigator, who first handled the case, turned everything upside down. I believe that all the examination results have been falsified," the producer said.
According to him, he saw the guard and director of the popular singer Aziza, Igor Malakhov, fire a shot, but not on his own, but with the hands of other guards who tried to snatch the gun from him. At the same time, Tolmatsky claims that Igor Talkov was the first to open fire. The producer also provided Izvestia with a video where Talkov and Shlyafman are sitting together in a friendly atmosphere. On it, the singer speaks of the concert director as his good friend.
In turn, concert director Valery Shlyafman said that Malakhov himself shot Talkov during an altercation with the musician. He noted that the guard had been on probation since 1991 until 1993, but the investigators released him anyway, despite the fact that he used a weapon. Shlyafman believes that this fact shows how much everything was falsified and made to ensure that he remained guilty.
"This verdict cannot be fair and just. Since '92, it has been a complete lie, a complete falsification of facts. The conflict started when Malakhov was coming out of the dressing room and got a kick in the ass from Igor," Shlyafman added.
On April 14, the Joint Press Service of the courts of St. Petersburg reported that the prosecution had demanded that Shlyafman be sentenced to 14 years in prison in the Talkov murder case. The director's defenders, in turn, asked for his acquittal.
