The Moscow Department of Education, after a meeting with the parent community of school No. 2120, decided to dismiss the director of the educational institution, whose students complained of systematic beatings and harassment by high school students. This was announced on April 22 in the department.

"On April 23, the Department will hold a meeting with an initiative group of parents and the school's governing council, where a plan will be developed to strengthen educational work and restore a favorable atmosphere in the school," the Telegram channel said.

According to a source in Izvestia, students at a Moscow school brutally murdered an eighth-grader, beating him to a pulp for his informal appearance. The teenagers deliberately provoked a conflict, and then attacked a peer, hitting him on the head, even when he was lying on the floor. The student was urgently taken to the hospital in critical condition with a broken neck.

"A criminal case is being investigated on the grounds of a crime under Article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Hooliganism"). The teaching staff of the educational institution, as well as other witnesses, are being interrogated," the Telegram channel of the GSU of the Investigative Committee (IC) of the Russian Federation in the capital said.

According to the preliminary version, on April 21, two teenagers at a school on Raduzhnaya Street in New Moscow, "wanting to contrast themselves with their peers" and show a disdainful attitude towards them, attacked a student born in 2010, using violence. Two teenagers born in 2009 were detained, and investigative actions are being carried out with them.

The Central Committee of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation noted that the chairman of the department, Alexander Bastrykin, instructed to report to him personally on the progress of the inspection, organized after social media reports that parents of Moscow school students complain of beatings of their children by high school students and bullying of minors.

On April 10, a minor from the Moscow region was charged with the murder of a schoolboy (paragraphs "b" and "l" of Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). He confessed his guilt and repented of what he had done. The crime occurred the day before, a 14-year-old teenager attacked a schoolboy with a knife at an apartment building in the village of Nekrasovsky in the Trudovaya microdistrict of the Dmitrov city district. The child died in an ambulance. After that, the minor tried to stage an attack on himself, and he received timely medical attention.
