In the territory of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), seven civilians, including a teenager, were injured during the day as a result of shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on April 22 by the head of the republic Denis Pushilin.

A man born in 1957 was injured when an explosive object detonated on the territory of a cemetery in the Kuibyshev district of Donetsk. He has moderate injuries. In addition, a woman born in 1978 received moderate wounds from the detonation of an unexploded cluster munition in the Central City district of Gorlovka.

"In the village of Constantinople, Velikonovoselkovsky municipal district, as a result of the enemy's use of barrel artillery, women born in 1974 and 1956 (year of birth. — Ed.), a man born in 1948 and born in 1975, as well as a teenage girl born in 2011," Pushilin wrote on the Telegram channel.

All the injured are receiving medical assistance. In addition, according to the head of the DPR, as a result of attacks by Ukrainian militants, a hospital in the Central City district of Gorlovka was damaged.

According to Pushilin, in just one day, the Ukrainian Armed Forces carried out 10 attacks using 155 mm cannon artillery and attack drones.

The day before, the mayor of Gorlovka, Ivan Prikhodko, announced the death of a civilian who stumbled upon an antipersonnel mine dropped by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. He clarified that the man was seriously injured and was hospitalized, but the injuries proved to be life-threatening.
