A man died after a fight at a bar in the south of Moscow.

In Moscow, police detained a man who hit an opponent near a bar in the south of the capital, which caused him to die. This was announced by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the city on Tuesday, April 22.

On suspicion of committing an illegal act, employees of the criminal investigation department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Danilovsky district detained a 29-year-old man.

"According to reports, a man, being near a bar on Architect Shchusev Street, struck a 51-year—old citizen two blows in the head area on the basis of a sudden personal hostility, from which the latter fell and died on the spot," the Moscow city News agency quoted the message.

Eyewitnesses of the incident called the police and an ambulance.

The detainee and all the materials collected by the police will be transferred to the investigative authorities.
