Rescuers moved to help a group of foreigners on Mount Elbrus

A group of foreign tourists asked for the help of rescuers on Mount Elbrus. This was announced on April 22 by the Elbrus High-altitude Search and Rescue Team The Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations.

"It was reported that an unregistered foreign group asked for help on Mount Elbrus at an altitude of approximately 5,350 [m]," the unit's Telegram channel said.

It is noted that, previously, two tourists from the group suffer from altitude sickness. A group of 10 rescuers went to the tourists.

Earlier, in October last year, the Ministry of Emergency Situations evacuated a man from Elbrus who asked for help at an altitude of 5200 m. Six rescuers were involved to help the tourist, who handed him over to the doctors at the Azau clearing.
